One of my cats died sometime in the night. Hit by a car. I was woken by my grandma at 8:45. And had to bury him. ;_; Sorry if I seem a bit depressed today =\ Its hitting me a bit hard. I loved that cat :(

*hugs back* I am glad we actually know what happened, rather than always wondering, but I'm pissed off that the driver didn't pull over and try to find the owner. if I knew, they'd probably be in a good bit of pain by now...

Yeah... I have a couple of pets who just disappeared, but knowing isn't always the best alternative. And meeting the perpetrator isn't always a soothing thing. I mean, I regret that I was too tiny and shocked to beat up that one guy. He'd have deserved it for not paying attention where his husky runs off to, who his husky kills, and for asking nothing but "Is it dead?" referring to a duck that was certainly not lying motionless on its back with a twisted neck because that's a duck's idea of fun. >_<

I hate it when people don't show respect towards animals. They are friends and family members! I just hate these people.

Personally, I consider cats to be worth more than 99.999% of humanity. I'd save a cats life more times than I would save a humans life. The only exceptions are those people I call friends. And some of my family.

if I knew who did it, their car would probably have thermite burning merrily away on the hood of their car before the day was done...

*hugs* I'm so sorry, dear. Losing pets often hurts just as much (or more) as losing a human member of the family. I remember crying for weeks when a car ran over my dog/best friend and when my cat/best friend had to be put to sleep.

Josh, that sucks. I've never had a cat but I couldn't imagine how horrible I would feel if my dog died. She is definitely a member of my family and not just a pet.
