varjosusiwell, I may have just lost EVERYTHING on my computer...comp froze, restarted...wouldn't boot...root partition was fucked...
neither Fedora Core or Knoppix sees it as being an actual filesystem, fsck.reiserfs can try to fix it, but it froze and messed up (saying yes to everything, rather than letting me choose stuff...it froze, I hit enter once...guess it took it for all the times) now it can't rebuild the tree, because it is now set to use a journal, and I think it wasn't before
I MIGHT be able to salvage it, dunno, hopefully
even so, if I can, i'll be burning everything to CD, and re-installing, not Gentoo this time, though I love it, just takes too long...
