Dec. 17th, 2009 01:54 amwell, I think the laptop may have just kicked the bucket. Was reading with the laptop running (it was damn near always running, I ran IRC, Pidgin, and Firefox on it at all times), looked back over to a black screen. Now it won't boot. takes 10+ minutes at the Windows loading screen, then goes to a black screen. Safe mode gets in, but goes slow as all hell.
The cpu fan has been dead over a year. Yet its still ran. I have it sitting on two small boxes with the area under it open. Its gotten a bit hot at times, but never had issues.
With the desktop ram and video card dying, and now the laptop...I'm likely to end up heavily depressed again. I can't play WoW, as my ram causes crit errors within 5 minutes of logging in. Its what I used to get away from the depression, now I can't do that. And I have no money for parts or repairs.
I kinda wish I was a bit famous online sometimes...if only so I could put a paypal button up and actually expect something...
